Never stand or walk under a moving garage door. 5. When opening or closing a garage door, always keep an eye on the door until it is fully open or closed. 6. Keep fingers away from the door whilst it is opening or closing. 7. Keep your garage door properly maintained for safe operation. Annual maintenance by a trained service     technician is recommended.                                                   8. Garage door openers use electricity which can shock or kill someone if mishandled.                                          9. Always get a trained technician to repair or service garage door springs or cables. These are under severe tension and can cause serious     injury.                                                  10. If the door is noisy or you feel unsafe, it is best to have it inspected by a trained technician
